It is several years since I started making artistically handmade linen as pushed by my great passion: finely embroidered and customized linen towels and linen crêpe towels, sponge towels enriched with crocheted filet, table strips, tablecloths, napkins, breakfast set, doilies, curtains, sheets, bedspread, duvet covers and whatever is used to embellish a charming home or restaurant, a first-rate hotel with preciously handmade details and exclusively fine particulars.
Through a slow, accurate and patient work I make top-quality, technically traditional articles enhanced by selected materials.
My Atelier "I ricami di Luisella" (Embroideries by Luisella), carries on a family tradition based on passion and enthusiasm as inherited by maternal grand-mother and is located in Sondrio, - Valtellina valley, a beautiful and industrious land where craftmanship is prosperous - in Via Angelo Custode 3/A, in the historic centre, that is in the heart of the town.
The creative soul of the workshop is me, Luisella who does forge new "fabric jewels" thanks to a constant study of ancient and modern embroideries, a witty combination of fashion, art, tastes and trends: therefore a curtain takes up a new form and a new colour dressing a window up as something unrivalled, conferring a touch of uniqueness; also a finely personalized towel conveys a renewed charm to your bathroom and a specially studied doily gives the table so particular gorgeousness.
